What began as a destination management company has naturally evolved into something more: a platform for designing thoughtful travel experiences in Croatia, shaped by local insight, personal relationships and years of on-the-ground experience.

Our Story
I’m Davor, founder of Sense4Croatia.
I was born and raised in Zagreb, and my journey in tourism began more than a decade ago while studying at university, followed by earning a Master’s degree in Tourism Management. Working with one of Croatia’s leading travel agencies gave me a strong foundation — not only in logistics and operations, but in understanding how travellers actually experience a destination once they arrive.
In January 2024, my wife and I relocated to New Zealand when she was offered a PhD position at one of the country’s esteemed universities. Living on the other side of the world reshaped my perspective. I quickly realised how strong the interest in Croatia is — not just as a place to visit, but as a destination people want to experience more deeply.
That long-haul perspective now shapes everything we design.
Whether it’s a Signature journey, a private tailor-made itinerary, or a business offsite, my role is the same: to curate experiences that respect people’s time, energy and curiosity — and to ensure everything behind the scenes is handled seamlessly.
